Google has over 75% of the UK search market. It is by far the biggest and most popular search resource in this country so it's important that we know how to design for google. Other search engines work in a similar way so designing (or optimising) web pages coded for google makes good sense
Putting the right information in the right place is good practice. But knowing what not to do is vital - it could be the difference between being on page 1 or page 21
The vast majority of web browsers go no deeper than page 3, 70% of browsers do not trust sponsored links (or pay-per-click)
Google is the market leader, we design for google but not to the detriment of a professional, pleasing design. That's the trick - make it look good but make it successfully. It can be done and we have the websites to prove it.

Case history
Client A. wanted to be top of google instantly so we advised google adwords. His website was top of google's pay per click in 20 minutes. He immediately enjoyed high traffic and high profits but at a cost - nearly £2,000 per month!
